The Party Wall Department aims to bring cost effective resolution of party wall matters within the Catalyst portfolio of services.

The Party Wall etc Act 1996, which came into force nationally on 1^st July 1997, covers building works on or close to the line of junction between two properties. The act is intended to avoid disputes and provide a mechanism for their resolution.

All Party Wall work carried out by Catalyst Regeneration is undertaken by a surveyor who is a Member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors (MFPWS)

We are able to provide advice on the legislation, assistance with serving the party wall notices and act as a Party Wall Surveyor as defined in the act.
